Abstract:

The American Statistician strives to publish articles of general interest to the statistical profession. To help explain this publication policy, this panel (including former and current editors of TAS and current Associate Editors) will give illustrations of good general-interest papers that have appeared in TAS. Also, the panel members will give suggestions on how to write an expository paper or how to "sell" your research to a diverse statistical audience.
