Abstract:

In several articles (2001, 2003), we have described a method for statistical matching that allows assessment of the uncertainty introduced during the match that is due to relationships in variables that are not jointly observed. These articles focussed on matches of bivariate normal (X,Z) samples with bivariate normal (X, Y) samples. We present new findings, such as results from matching when one or more of X, Y, Z are multivariate.
