Abstract:

Social network analysis is the study and analysis of groups as social entities to attempt to mathematically understand the interactions of people and groups in society. This analysis includes concepts such as nodes and ties, groups, subgroups, cliques, social prominence and rank, centrality, and prestige. Computers have forms of social interactions; they connect to each other and have client/server and peer-to-peer relationships. Computers also have trust relationships. A computer operating system dictates how it interacts with other computers and the types of services it uses. This paper will show the correlation of a computer social network group and operating system.
