Description

The panel will discuss statistical issues and problems related to protecting against, detecting, and mitigating future terrorism incidents, including: biostatistics to detect and diagnose bioterrorism; modeling to predict effects of weapons of mass destruction; techniques to protect information and critical infrastructure; methodologies to expedite weapon systems testing and fielding; and risk assessments in living with terrorism.
