Room: H-Regent Parlor
Section on Survey Research Methods* Invited
Organizer: Danny Pfeffermann, Hebrew University

Floor Discussion 3:45 PM
Description

Over the years, alternatives to the classical use of sampling weights to account for unequal selection probabilities, post-stratification, and nonresponse adjustment have been developed. While preserving design consistency and other robustness criteria, the alternatives are more efficient, more flexible, and, in some cases, allow one to condition on the selected sample. This session explores new developments in this area.
