Description
Statistics has been widely used in various disciplines associated with Drug Discovery and Pre-clinical Development and Safety studies. The issues are quite complex in these areas, arising from smaller sample sizes to complicated design issues to multiple testing of hypotheses in varieties of chemical and biomedical processes throughout R&D. These challenges provide more opportunity for innovative techniques used to incorporate the complexities in the designs and processes at various processes in Drug Discovery and early development (including safety). In this session, three well-known applied statisticians who have wide experience in the drug industry will speak on their innovative techniques used to resolve statistical and biological complexities in their studies.
