Description

The advance of gene-expression array technology presents statisticians with distinct statistical challenges relating to high-dimensional data. The purpose of this session is to bring together theoretical statisticians who have practical experience in the analysis of gene expression data, but who also are involved in the development of methods that face the challenges. The talks will include a discussion of the nature of the problems as well as presentations of novel solutions.
