Abstract:

Frequency data (cross-tabs) and discrete-response data are most often presented in tables. Analyses, using loglinear models and logistic regression, are most often presented in terms of parameter estimates. Over the past decade, new visualization has been developed to provide exploratory and confirmatory graphic displays analogous to those used widely easily for quantitative data. This forum invites people with interests in both categorical data and visualization methods to share questions, ideas, and interests.
