Abstract:

By considing the information bounds for the classical Cox partial likelihood estimator, showing that it is locally regular and asymtotically linear with an unit influence function in the tangent space of the model, then it's a efficient estimator (in the view of proposition 3.3.1 in book: "Efficient and adaptive estimation for semiparametric models").
