Abstract:

In HIV/AIDS studies, intermediate biomarkers such as HIV viral load are often used to evaluate anti-HIV treatments and identify important confounding factors. The biomarkers may be censored due to the quantification limit of available bioassay methods. In this talk, we will present statistical methods for the analysis of censored biomarkers using semiparametric regression models. Numerical examples are also presented.
