Abstract:

In this study a projection pursuit method is used to explore c^d contingency table data. The method operates on projection matrices constructed using affine geometry and creates projections using a Radon transform. The projection matrices and projections can be used to find "interesting" (non-uniform) structure, and to cluster and order the cases.
