Title: Least Square Method for a Survival Change-point Model

Keywords: Least Square ; Change-point ; Survival data
Abstract:

The change-point problem has been studied in a variety of contexts. In most of the methodologies, variations of likelihood ratio test are utilized, which can be computationally intensive. Furthermore, estimation of standard errors of the change-point can be tedious and cumbersome. Consider a piecewise constant hazard function with unknown change-point. Alaan's least square method will explore, and the properties of estimators will be examined through simulation.
