Title: Calibration of a Flood Hydraulics Model
Author(s): John Grego*+
Affiliation(s): University of South Carolina
Address: , Columbia, South Carolina, 29208, USA
Keywords: Sensitivity Analysis ; Bayesian Methods ; HEC-2
Abstract:

Deterministic methods used for analyzing flood hydraulics generally rely on sensitivity methods to assess error. Calibration of these models, generally used to reconcile model output with available data, can be used to develop useful estimates of model error. Existing data of historical flood stages will be used to examine the performance of a one-dimensional flood hydraulics model.
