Title: Estimation of Cluster Parameters with Applications in Cell Biology
Author(s): Amber Anderson*+
Affiliation(s): GlaxoSmithKline, Inc.
Address: , Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, ,
Keywords: cluster ; biology ; estimation ; spatial statistics
Abstract:

Spatial statistics methods are applied to test the hypothesis of clustering and to estimate the cluster size of cell surface receptors in electron micrographs of the cell surface. These results allow the estimation of a key chemical parameter involved in allergic response that is related to cluster size.
