Abstract:

There are a number of issues that the small consulting practice must consider when hiring its first employees--taxes, liability, wages, benefits, budgeting allowances, needed additional resources, the legal relationship with employees, and impact on client contracts, as well as many management issues. This round table will offer a forum in which to discuss these issues, as well as some of the marketing issues that small firms face when trying to expand.
