Abstract:

Several statistical procedures in SAS (CATMOD, GENMOD, LOGISTIC, AND PROBIT) and SPSS are available for analyzing binary data. The presence of separation provides different difficulties and awareness depending on the procedure. Data from a drug addiction program are examined and certain unique features with separation are presented.
