Abstract:

The Palm PDA is a small portable computer ideal for answering quick statistical and epidemiologic questions: sample size, confidence intervals for odds ratios and risk ratios from 2x2 tables, tests to compare means and standard deviations and p-values for common test statistics. Few programs of statistical value have been available for the Palm and the PocketPC.

This set of programs is written in Pocket C so that the programs can easily be ported to Windows 2002 pocket devices. The programs will be available on the internet for downloading.
