Abstract:

On January 3, 2002, the Office of Management and Budget published its final guidance to Federal agencies for ensuring and maximizing the quality, objectivity, utility, and integrity of information (including statistical information) disseminated by Federal agencies. The largest statistical agencies have been collaborating to determine how to approach the OMB requirements. This is an opportunity for participants to discuss the issues associated with the new guidelines and the approaches that the agencies have developed with the leader of the interagency effort.
