Abstract:
|
Record linkage, or exact matching, consists of bringing together records in two or more files on the same population. Methods of record linkage that incorporate models have been developed that include one-to-one matching between individuals represented on two files. Bayesian methods are used to express uncertaintly regarding the linkage. This expression of uncertainty also is useful when performing analyses on files created through record linkage processes.
