Abstract:

Bayesian methods are well-suited to clinical trials involving medical devices, in part due to the availability of prior information for next-generation devices, and the localized nature of the treatment. In this luncheon we will discuss various types of study designs and applications, along with some advantages and challenges of implementing the Bayesian approach. Participants will share experiences and learn from the experience of others.
