Abstract:

Web-based statistical tools have made a real impact on the practice of industrial statistics at General Mills. This talk will discuss the technical, cultural, and business issues associated with the introduction and deployment of these tools. We'll highlight how these tools change relationships (people-to-people and people-to-data) and how they create new opportunities to promote the use of statistics and provide statistics education.
