A discussion of a quantitative study of the relationship between the grade in College Algebra and/or Math Functions to the grade in Elementary Business Statistics for students at Oklahoma State University. The study uses student grades in their math and statistics courses, along with other variables such as a university where the math course was taken and semester in which each course was taken. The data was gathered from Institutional Research and included information for students in Business Statistics for the semesters of Fall 1987 to Spring 1999.
