Abstract:

This talk will discuss the need for changes in the education of statisticians who will go into business and industry, and ultimately be the statistical consultants of the future. There are many changes going on in the environment in business and industry, and the educational community has not changed fast enough to keep up. This talk will suggest several changes that need to be made.
