Description

This course will focus on the program package S.A.G.E. (Statistical Analysis for Genetic Epidemiology) release 4 to analyze family data. Participants will be expected to have at least a graduate degree in Biostatistics, or the equivalent, and some knowledge of genetic statistics. The workshop will cover the underlying theory and application of S.A.G.E (using downloadable data for examples) to the following areas of human genetic: familial correlations, segregation analysis using regressive models for continuous ,binary and censored data, linkage analysis using these same models, model-free linkage analysis, and association analysis.
