Description

Measuring agreement among various methods of measurement is often of interest in medical and social sciences. These methods may correspond to different instruments, people, laboratories, etc. Some lack of agreement is bound to be present in different methods. However, we are interested in quantifying the extent of agreement. If the two methods are in satisfactory agreement, then, we can replace the well established method with the new method or even use the two methods interchangeably. This measurement of agreement is also useful for assessing the reproducibility of a method. This session is devoted to talks that discuss recent developments in this area.
