Description

Developments in the Microelectronics industry are helping propel the Information Age to greater heights and new visions. Internet applications, wireless communications, networking equipment, and high-speed data transfer systems are all benefiting from these developments. In order to sustain and continue this trend, however, microelectronic devices will have to be highly reliable with robust performance, ease of repair, and self-diagnostics. The microelectronics industry will need to leverage statistical approaches to meet these challenges. In this session we will focus on key areas which address the Statistical needs of this industry.
