Description

Phil Dawid will discuss his "prequential" approach to forecasting problems. This talk outlines the prequential framework, the game-theoretic principles which underlie it, and the theoretical and practical benefits that flow from it. The talk will also discuss how it links Probability and Statistics with active research areas in Economics and Computer Science.
