Description
Robin Pemantle will talk about a class of processes related to discrete-time Markov processes but which include a component of reinforcement so that the processes tend to repeat states or transitions that have occurred in the past. These processes have applications to the modeling of social interactions including learning, strategic play and networking. The talk will discuss convergence properties of these systems.
