Bayesian Meta-Analyses for Comparative Effectiveness and Coverage Decisionsand Keywords: Bayesian, Meta-Analysis, Hierarchical Models Bayesian meta-analyses will be presented in two scenarios. In the first an analysis of 12 implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICD) studies will be presented. A chronological presentation of the results will be addressed and the question as to when we knew what, addressed. Additionally an example in rheumatoid arthritis, with the ubiquitous situation in which A is compared to B and B is compared to C, yet, a comparison between A and C is desired will be presented.
