Airports

The closest airport to the Fairmont Washington DC is the Reagan National Airport (airport code: DCA). In normal traffic, it’s about a 15 minute drive from the airport to the hotel. Washington Dulles International (airport code: IAD) is the next closest airport, located about 30-40 minutes from the hotel. Baltimore/Washington International Airport (airport code: BWI) is also convenient to DC, located about 45 minutes to 1 hour drive from the city.

Ground Transportation

All airports are accessible to Washington, DC and the Fairmont Hotel via Metro and train service, as well as rental cars, taxis and shuttle services.

Reagan National

Weather: The weather is unpredictable and with the possibility of snow and ice storms in the North Eastern region, be prepared for flight delays due to winter weather. On average, January is the coolest month in DC and the city seems to slow down after the winter holidays.
