Cantabular: a framework of tools for the protection & publication of statistics: The Sensible Code Company (310024)

This demonstration will present a set of tools from our software framework Cantabular designed to help statistical organisations with the challenges of automated publication and protection of outputs in a real-time query system. Through case studies of our work on the England and Wales 2021 Census, the 1911 Irish Census and an example establishment dataset, we’ll demonstrate its functions, including: fast cross-tabulation of compiled data; automated disclosure checking of outputs using a domain specific language; an easy to use user interface for building queries from scratch; and a metadata service for flexible specification of reference metadata.
