*Sofia Olhede, University College LondonEver since our newfound fascination with automated decision-making, various bodies have been grappling with formulating the ethics of data governance as well as algorithms. Concrete recent examples range from GDPR to various reports by professional societies and other global organizations. This talk will map out the developments in this area, ranging from general to area-specific, especially for the special case of criminal justice, where I was part of a recent UK Law Society commission.
