This session will be an opportunity to compare the roles and responsibilities of Biostatisticians working in Industry versus Academic settings. We will discuss conflict of interest and other role challenges that arise from working in both of these enivronments. Are the skills and responsibilities of the Biostatistician the same regardless of their employer? Should they be? This group discussion will ideally allow participants to discuss their own career challenges and goals, and to share their strategies for managing the unique role that Biostatisticians play in the Scientific and the Regulatory process.
