Covariate-adaptive randomization -- a preferred randomization method in clinical trials
View Presentation *Bob Zhong, Johnson and Johnson Keywords: clinical trials, randomization, covariate-adaptive randomization, balance. Covariate-adaptive randomization has been used in clinical trials for about 40 years. There are many controversies around it. Some like it a lot; others strongly discourage the use of it. Is it the time to make a conclusion now? The latest research results demonstrate that many “discussed” concerns associated with covariate-adaptive randomization are unfounded.
