Keywords: data science, undergraduate, industry partnerships

The Data Mine at Purdue University has approximately 800 undergraduate and graduate students, most of whom are participating in 50 Corporate Partnerships, across all sectors of industry. Such projects include, for instance, biomedical engineering, digital agriculture, healthcare engineering, image processing, manufacturing, natural language processing, supply chain management, transportation, etc. We have recently begun a statewide and a nationwide rollout of The Data Mine model, enabling other universities (especially Minority Serving Institutions) and more companies to start (and then sustain!) data-driven partnerships of their own. We will summarize this model and will look forward to discussions that arise from this e-poster.
