Communication to Empower the Audience

Your Data Is Beta: Prioritizing the Story (304224)

Keywords: communication, practical application

Empathy and trust are values that are talked about with respect to leadership and engagement, but are rarely discussed as necessities in communicating to a wide variety of audiences. Before entering a room or writing a document, a person should identify who is the target audience and what language and format will they understand, thus building and reporting with empathy. You are at the table, they should trust your expertise, confusing clients doesn't make you look smart and we aren’t trying to prove that. You need to give the audience the ability to understand the insights so they are empowered to make decisions upon which to act. That’s where master communication skills come in! Participants will leave the session understanding how to plan their communication with their audience, and even get in a little practice!
