A Nonlinear Regression Plugin for Rcmdr (303438)

The Rcmdr GUI package for R has proven effective for providing a gentle introduction to the R statistical language. An important feature of Rcmdr to this end is the provision of the R function call resulting from menu selections and dialog box responses. Rcmdr provides for the addition of statistical functionality not included in the standard package through the development of specialized packages called plugins. This poster will provide an overview of the plugin development process and present a plugin for calls to, and extension of the R nls() function.
