Best Practices in Model Selection and Profiling (303353)

With the increase in statistical computer software power to quickly try many different types of advanced models, it is often hard to decide which model really best fits your data. This talk will cover best practices in comparing different types of models using both numeric and visual methods. We will also cover best ways to interact with the selected model to ask “what if” prediction questions and even simulate on model results. Lastly we will feature real data modeling examples that will approximate common data modeling situations across many industries.
