Quality of Life in NYC (303106)*Eunice J Kim, Amherst CollegeMuling Si, Amherst College Keywords: Point-pattern data, spatial analysis People are curious how their quality of life would change when they move from one neighborhood to another, especially in a big city. We use a full year of 311 non-emergency call data in New York City to identify the major complaints of each neighborhood and analyze spatial correlation between different types of complaints and link it with spatial covariates. We provide an interactive navigation tool to display the data in a standard report or as a web tool. Lastly, we propose a method of spatial imputation using the full information in the 70% of the 311 non-emergency calls.
