Omics technologies are widely adopted and applied in the discovery and development of precision medicine. The high-dimensional omics data, especially from high-throughput technologies, calls for the utilization of AI/ML to generate insights. In this presentation I will demonstrate AI/ML applications to omics data through examples in drug discovery and development. I will also discuss both opportunities and challenges in realizing the promise of AI/ML in precision medicine.
