This roundtable discussion will be based on the work of the ASA BIOP Section Statistical Methods in Oncology Scientific Working Group (ASA BIOP Oncology SWG, https://community.amstat.org/biop/workinggroups/smowg/smowg-home). The awareness of common challenges in the design, analysis, and execution of clinical trials in Oncology has led to collaborative research efforts of statisticians from academia, pharmaceutical industry, and regulatory agency on several prominent topics. A brief description of the current ASA BIOP Oncology projects and outreach activities will be presented and discussed. Participants will learn about the membership and work of the working group. Additionally, participants will have an opportunity to share their experience and suggest additional topics for working group future projects.
