For treatment effects that are not homogeneous within the whole study population, the SIDES method helps find optimal patient sub-populations, or suggest the lack thereof. It brings structure and rigor to an ad hoc process. The SOS software (IQVIA) implements the method on a cloud-computing platform with algorithmic searching under concise sets of user-specified parameters. This round table will briefly introduce the concepts and set-up from the decision maker perspective. Search results from a clinical development program will be introduced for focused discussion.
