This roundtable discussion will be based on the work of the ASA BIOP Section Statistical Methods in Oncology Scientific Working Group (Onc SWG). Selected statistical challenges in drug development in oncology that include but not limited to biomarker based designs, combination therapy designs, designs with external controls, and basket/ platform trial designs will be introduced. A brief description of the current Onc SWG projects and relevant activities will be presented. Participants will have an opportunity to learn about the Onc SWG membership and workstreams. Additionally, participants will have an opportunity to suggest additional topics for future projects.
