This presentation describes several examples of dynamic data visualization that illustrate aspects of the data that would be difficult to see in a static display. Each example is illustrated using a Statlet, which allows the analyst to interactively change the time period for which the data are displayed. Examples include dynamic wind roses, population pyramids, animated maps, and a deviation dashboard for monitoring SPC data. Several multivariate data visualizers are also presented that include dynamic glyphs and animated bubble charts.
