The current context caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to unique opportunities and challenges related to high school statistics and data science teacher professional development (PD). Providing quality teacher PD necessitated a real-time response and redesign of traditional in-person PD. As part of the panel discussion, we will share the realities of redesigning teacher learning for delivery in a virtual platform, along with lessons learned about the teaching and learning of high school statistics and data science.
