Weighted log-rank test has been discussed extensively in recent years, in particular for application in immunotherapy oncology trials where delayed effect is expected. However, it is still rarely used in practice due to various practical concerns. It's recognized that the weighted log-rank test may not be reliable particularly when events are still accumulating considerably at time of analysis, as the nature of the test is much associated with trial conduct characteristics. In this round table discussion, I'd like to discuss with pharmaceutical colleagues who are statistical practitioners and willing to share their experiences regarding weighted log-rank test in practice.
