Abstract

Radiomics is an exciting new field which combine of quantitative imaging and machine learning to uncover new insights in medical images. At Novartis, we are leading several radiomics projects from various disease areas (e.g. oncology, immunology) to identify new markers and develop innovative tools that could benefits patients. Those investigations include clinical prediction, medical images segmentation and multi-omics analysis (e.g. radiogenomics). The goals of this presentation are to 1) provide a better understanding of imaging analysis and state-of-the-art methods, and 2) provide concrete examples of successful applications of radiomics in drug development within Novartis.
