Journalism has always been viewed as a public service, and "data journalism" is no exception. Although the philosophy of data journalism is nothing new, practices have changed with time and technology, creating new ways of bringing quantitative information to the public's attention. In this talk, data journalist Aleksandra Wisniewska will present a variety of examples from UK and international news, including data stories related to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
