Abstract:

Iterative methods of construction of optimal experimental designs for regression models are discussed, together with specifics of implementation of these methods on a quantum computer. We present several examples of optimal design problems originating in biopharmaceutical applications and show how to reformulate these problems as quadratic unconstrained binary optimization problems (QUBO) that can be solved on a D-Wave machine.
