Abstract:
|
The ASA Section on Statistical Consulting and the Committee on Applied Statisticians have supported efforts to develop a coherent theory of and effective methods for successful collaboration between subject matter experts and statisticians. This roundtable will discuss: key components of this theory, how this theory can be taught to senior undergraduate statistics majors, how students can implement these methods in a classroom and project environment, and what might be missing.
